Mercury, the Winged Messenger, is the planet that is said to rule communication, journeys and transport and also commerce. Three times each year Mercury ‘appears to travel backwards in the sky’. During these periods (approx. 3-4 weeks but affecting 6-10 weeks) it is a great time to go back over your thoughts, ideas, plans and undertake physical tidying for example think about the following words – review, revisit, reflect, remake, reconsider and so on and don’t forget to back up your hard drive! If you have choice these would not be considered great periods to buy a car or computer nor sign a legal agreement such as a house purchase.
